Earlier this month, MVP Plant users from across the country joined together in Chicago to learn how to build custom reports using MVP Plant's Report Builder. The class was surprised at how easy it was to build desired reports from scratch, insert various graphs, charts, and gauges, and add their personal touch (look and feel). Additionally, they learned how to schedule reports to automatically generate based on a specific schedule (recurring or one time) and distribute to a specific recipient list. This way, they build the report once and let MVP Plant do the rest of work by automatically generating and distributing the reports for them, ultimately saving time, money, and effort.

MVP Capture is a barcode solution that uses barcode scanners to track complete and accurate maintenance data (work, parts, labor, comments, downtime, etc.) and uploads this information to MVP Plant paperlessly and wirelessly. Equipment, parts, work orders, etc. are all identified with a barcode. Maintenance technicians and inventory personnel simply scan the barcode they need to enter, eliminating all data collection and entry errors while saving a tremendous amount of time.

With MVP Plant's Reporting Services, MVP Plant works for you, saving time and money. Use the following steps to create a report schedule:
1) Select from one of many of MVP Plant's standard reports or create a custom report using MVP Plant's complimentary Report Builder.
2) Build a distribution list of people to receive the report or list only your own email address to have the report sent to yourself for review prior to broadcast.
3) Specify when and how often the report will automatically generate and distribute.
4) Repeat steps 1 – 3 for each additional report.
That's it! Reports will automatically generate and distribute per your specification. Have reports emailed out 1st thing Monday morning and your boss will think you spent the whole weekend putting some incredible reports together.
